Truncator Single Cup

Build your own sawhorse using the patented Truncator tipping cups. If you already have a suitable trestle, simply retrofit with as many cups as you want. The more cups you add the more efficient the sawhorse is.

The cups are made from recycled car battery plastic and are extremely durable. They’re UV resistant, are unaffected by extremes of temperature (tested down to -10 degrees celsius), and flex to accommodate very large diameter timber. The tipping mechanism allows you to tip your logs straight into a container (e.g. wheelbarrow, log bags, trailer), so you don’t have to repeatedly bend down to collect them. This drastically reduces the strain on your back, as does cutting at waist height. The shape of the cup is designed so that the logs roll down into the bottom of the cup after being cut, rather than flying out. Also, if you accidentally hit a cup with your chainsaw it won’t blunt your chain.

Note: You’ll need one Truncator securing cup in your system to hold the logs safely in place while cutting. For example, if you want to build your own sawhorse with five cups, you need 4 standard cups and 1 securing cup.
